Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Billing Supervisor to join our legal firm. This leadership role involves overseeing and supporting our billing team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of client invoices. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Billing and Client Relations and will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of client invoice processing, including submission to various e-billing systems.
• Lead and supervise the billing team, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective service delivery.
• Manage and troubleshoot billing software functionality, including Aderant Expert billing and iTimeKeep timekeeping systems.
• Collaborate with firm management and partners to facilitate specialized billing arrangements for clients.
• Perform full-cycle billing functions, including generating, printing, logging, and tracking pre-bills and finalized invoices.
• Assist in the input and modification of time entries using Aderant EA Pro Billing Workspace.
• Train and supervise billing staff on billing processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a billing or finance role within the legal industry is required.
• Proficiency in billing software such as Aderant Expert and iTimeKeep is essential.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
